job summary:

Our client, a rapidly growing national company, is seeking a Temp-Hire HRIS & Payroll Specialist to join it's growing team. This role will be onsite in Orlando and will report directly to the VP of Human Resources.

responsibilities:
  • Process multi tax jurisdiction payroll for 300 employees on a bi-weekly
  • basis and off-cycle payrolls as needed.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain, produce and distribute regular required (weekly/monthly/annual)
  • reports to internal and external requesters including required compliance
  • reporting.
  • Review control measures to ensure highest levels of accuracy and develop audits to support data integrity within HR systems.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis to drive key business decisions.
  • Streamline/automate processes when possible.
  • Ensure accuracy of users' data in HCM/payroll platform.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, effective and user-friendly processes regarding
  • HR systems.
  • Provide HRM support and training for end users including the creation of process documentation and user guides for new hires.
 
qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an HRIS Analyst position with 1 year of relevant experience processing payroll in multi-state tax jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data reporting solutions for HR and other
  • departments.
  • Knowledge of employment law compliance in relation to payroll, timekeeping,
  • and related reports.
  • Knowledge of UKG Pro / UltiPro Payroll preferred, or similar systems experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills, able to communicate effectively.
