job summary:

We are actively seeking a Business Partner / Human Resource Generalist in Los Angeles that is experienced in global logistics and transportation. The HR business Partner will work closely on business strategy initiatives with business leaders including Operations and Finance Managers. Experience in Collective Bargaining and Labor Relations are essential for this role.

The key responsibility would be to consult with leaders to design and deliver effective HR solutions on a broad spectrum of HR initiatives.

Organizational Development & Workforce Planning -

- Headcount analysis

- Translate business plans into HR operational plans

Staffing & Recruitment

- Job requisition & search process approvals

- Vendor selection

- Offer letter design and background checks

On-boarding -

- New hire orientation process

Qualifications:

- At least five years of Human Resource experience. Experience in Labor Relations, Collective Bargaining, and transportation / logistics.

- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in HR processes and procedures and in compiling and analyzing employment data.

- Experience in identifying and addressing complex performance management issues

- Strong communicator and the ability to collaborate well with all levels of an organization.

- Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus

** A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
