Human Resources Director - $100,000 to $120,000

Opportunity to have an immediate and direct impact on the day to day operations of an established Human Resources Department for an established and highly regarded private company in the northern suburbs of Lancaster (Lititz / Ephrata area).

Great opportunity for an HR professional without supervisory experience to gain management experience as the Human Resources Director will immediately manage / supervise one employee with the potential of managing a second employee.

The Human Resources Director will develop, lead and implement strategies related to recruitment, employee engagement, employee performance and employee relations. While this is clearly a "hands on" - this position will benefit from having two direct reports focused on benefits, payroll and general Human Resources administration tasks.

responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage talent acquisition / recruitment processes with expectation of filling 20-30 positions annually (with the support of the rest of the HR team)
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition strategies
  • Guide Managers through employee relations and employee performance issues
  • Develop and implement key HR metrics in the areas of employee engagement, employee performance and employee retention
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience
  • Preference for candidates coming out of a small to mid sized company or small to mid sized business unit / division of a larger company
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Assessment Tools (Myers Briggs, DISC, Caliper, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Well versed in Human Resources regulations
