job description

job summary:

Human Resources Generalist - $70,000 - $85,000 plus bonus

Unique and interesting opportunity to join an established and respected mid sized company (400 +/- employees) as their Human Resources Generalist. This is a newly created role that will join a great Human Resources Team including a wonderful VP of Human Resources and an awesome Human Resources Manager (who our firm placed). This role is needed both because of continued growth / expansion and because of succession planning as the HR Manager will assume the VP responsibilities upon her retirement.

This is a "hands on" Generalist role that will be responsible for all areas of Human Resources including Benefits, Compensation, Human Resources Compliance / Legal, Career Development / Planning and Human Resources Strategy.

That said - while our client is eager to hire a candidate with a strong breadth of Human Resources experience - they recognize the strengths and weaknesses within their HR team and want a candidate who is particularly strong in the areas of Recruiting and Employee Relations.

Our client seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years of Human Resources experience. Candidates MUST have manufacturing and / or construction industry experience.

Based on the volume of resumes we receive on a daily basis, our firm will only respond to local candidates who meet this criteria.
