job description

job summary:

Human Resources Manager - $95,000 - $110,000 plus bonus

Great opportunity to join an established and respected mid sized company (350 +/- employees) as their Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager position is open based upon the recent departure of a long-time contact of our firm. This retirement has presented our client with an opportunity to re-evaluate the Human Resources function and they are excited to hire a passionate, high energy Human Resources Leader to transform the role Human Resources has within this organization.

This position will manage a team of four. Our clients envision a 4-8 year career path to a Vice President level role within the company.

This is a "hands on" Manager role that will be responsible for all areas of Human Resources including Employee Relations, Human Resources Compliance / Legal, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Career Development / Planning and Human Resources Strategy.

While our client is eager to hire a candidate with a strong breadth of Human Resources experience, they recognize the strengths and weaknesses within their HR team and want a candidate who is particularly strong in the areas of Employee Relations, Recruiting and HR "Technology".

Our client seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of six years of Human Resources experience. Management experience is NOT required.

Based on the volume of resumes we receive on a daily basis, our firm will only respond to local candidates who meet this criteria.
