job summary:

An East Texas oil field service supplier needs a Interim CFO Consultant who will lead the finance / accounting department for this family owned business. The company is a mid-size organization with $40+ million in revenue. This is a 3+ month project.

 
location: Athens, Texas

salary: $60 - 70 per hour
work hours: 8 to 5
education: Bachelor's degree
experience: 10 Years
 
responsibilities:
  • Oversight for all general accounting and financial reporting processes
  • Financial analysis and performance reporting to executive leadership and Operations staff
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the accounting department
  • Design organizational structure to achieve the department's goals and objectives
  • Establishing and targeting KPIs & metrics for the business
  • Streamline order to cash
  • ERP evaluation & potential implementation - currently using QB Online
 
qualifications:
  • Successful track record as CFO managing a staff of 3+
  • Oil & Gas & / or Industrial manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong hands-on ERP background with system implementation experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Proficient with systems and report writing
  • Hands-on leader for all levels of F&A tasks on a daily basis.
