job summary:

Tatum's client, a confidential, global, multibillion dollar PE backed high tech manufacturing and services company, is looking for an interim CFO. This will be an 18 month engagement starting immediately. The interim CFO will be a strategic partner to the North American CEO to drive growth and improve the business.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with the North American CEO and other executives on the overall business strategy to drive growth.
  • Partner with an external consulting firm to bring the NA operations into FAR and DFAR compliance.
  • Focus on processes and make all necessary improvements and drive the team to implement best practices.
  • Assess the current finance team to determine if any changes or additions need to be made.
 
qualifications:

Required Criteria (must meet 100% of these criteria to be considered):

  • Government contracting industry background.
  • CFO experience leading a company or business unit with at least $400M in annual revenue.
  • Highly competent CFO with very strong presentation skills, knowledgeable and fact based approach with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves with a hands on approach to get the job done.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience as CFO for a private equity backed company preferred
  • Manufacturing and/or services industry experience is nice to have
  • Experience as Divisional CFO for the US business unit of a foreign company would be ideal.
