job summary:

Tatum's client, a PE-backed global industrial services company based in Mobile, AL, is in search of an Interim CFO for a 3-4 month engagement. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a newly acquired company and assist in standing up the back-office function and team, build out processes, and lead the post-acquisition integration.

responsibilities:

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Interim CFO will center around integration of two similar size businesses, develop reporting / KPI dashboards, deliver BOD meetings, evaluate and support the current Controller / Accounting function, and assess the respective systems and identify short-term changes. The ideal candidate will have a background as the CFO of industrial services business, Private Equity experience, have worked for companies in the $50 - 200M tier, and done business combinations including acquisitions / mergers.

 
qualifications:

Required Criteria:

  • Direct experience with the post acquisition integration of at least two businesses of a similar size.
  • Private equity portfolio company experience.
  • CPA or equivalent.
  • Scalable process and organizational engineering experience.
  • ERP platform experience. Proficient in Excel.
  • Leadership skill and boardroom presence.
  • Willing to be in the office 5 days per week.
  • Track record of stewarding international businesses in the $50-$200M tier
