job summary:

Tatum is partnering with a dental support organization, helping build out their Corporate Development team, adding a newly created Analyst position to help support significant growth targets over the next 5+ years. The company has a new Private Equity sponsor who has provided tremendous resources and capital to fuel this growth.

responsibilities:
  • Assist business leaders with strategy and M&A pipeline development by researching markets and companies.
  • Participate in all aspects of M&A transactions including strategic analysis, valuation, financial and operational due diligence, legal documentation, and integration planning.
  • Evaluate materials received from M&A targets and other sources.
  • Perform financial analysis and develop robust models to evaluate projections and valuations of targets.
  • Support negotiations and transaction documentation.
  • Prepare strategy and acquisition related presentations for business leaders and the executive leadership team.
  • Work on special projects, including both inorganic and organic opportunities, to evolve and enhance the corporate development function and processes
  • Conduct diligence process with internal stakeholders and external attorneys
  • Occasionally travel to offices for welcome visit & site survey
  • Coordinate and manage weekly calls with integration team
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related area;
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, M&A, private equity or similar financial position
  • Expert Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
