job summary:

Tatum has been engaged by a Management Consulting & Audit firm in Washington DC for their Audit Manager opening. This job can be 100% remote or a hybrid of office/remote, and required experience/credentials include previous Federal Audit experience (specifically with the Dept of Defense), an active CPA, previous management experience on Federal Audit engagements and the ability to obtain a clearance.

Our client is a growing firm with about 70 employees. They offer lots of exposure to the Partner level and they are a minority owned firm. The Audit practice within the firm is about 20 people and even during Covid business was strong.

Salary is $110,000-120,000K plus up to 20% bonus. Minimum of 6 years relevant experience is required. This is a salaried position with full benefits.

  • Familiarity with the GAO Green Book, Code of Federal Regulations, OMB circulars and bulletins, budgetary accounting, and USSGL and its application in an audit context.
  • At least two years experience working with (or in) the Offices of Inspector General.
