job summary:

Our dynamic client north of Boston has doubled headcount in the last 5 years and is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join their growing team. You will manage all internal and external reporting and provide technical accounting support. This position manages process and will work hand-in-hand with the Corporate Controller.

  • Support accounting team with month-end close process
  • Support external firm with quarter-end reviews / year-end audits
  • Prepare SEC filings and supporting documentation
    • Proxy, 10K, 10Q's, etc.
  • Provide technical accounting support to Controller and other business units
  • Manage the lease and equity accounting processes
  • Support Revenue Accounting Manager with revenue recognition
  • Design / maintain all financial reports within the reporting system
  • Related projects as appropriately assigned
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 5 -8 years of progressive accounting experience
    • Recent public accounting experience required
  • SEC reporting experience required
  • Experience researching / documenting complex technical accounting issues for GAAP and SEC reporting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and reporting standards
