job summary:

Tatum is presently conducting an executive search for a Managing Director for their private equity client's family office in West Los Angeles. This position will report to the CEO and President and will be responsible for the following:

responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the business plan with the goal of achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.
  • Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
  • Integrates all major operating functions of the business and ensures that there is synergy within the company.
  • Manages conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates effective project management skills.
  • Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
  • Effectively collaborates with the senior leadership in respectful manner. Realizes the unique contributions and ideas that the CEO has and possesses an ability to filter and translate those ideas into functional plans for the company.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels and departments to ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Develops and empowers high performance teams, drives processes, KPIs, sense of urgency and accountability to improve performance.
 
qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of private equity and family office experience with at least 5 years of Managing Director, CFO and/or COO level experience within aforementioned environment. Other requirements include:

  • MBA
  • CPA ideal but not required
  • Public Accounting and real estate
  • Strong real estate experience
  • Strong operations experience
  • Excellent communications skills
