Our client is a fast growing global investment organization located in the West Chester area is seeking an Operations Analyst and a motivated individual to be responsible for processing of daily trading activity

The ideal candidate must foster a positive work environment at all times, be a highly organized, multi-tasker that can comfortably engage with all levels in the company. Job Description:

This position is in the Operations Department of a growing global investment management firm. In this role you will be a member of the team that is responsible for the following:

  • Processing of daily trading activity
  • Analysis of data transmissions to improve efficiency and risk controls
  • Critical data set up in the primary trading systems of the firm
  • Working with various third party vendors, such as custodians, brokers, and auditors
  • Monitoring and electing on corporate action events
  • Daily problem resolution and end user support
  • Reviewing and updating relevant documentation involving the firm's systems and business processes
  • Project work as assigned, including involvement with the development team to implement custom software improvements

Qualifications:

  • MIS, Finance, and/or Accounting background is a plus
  • 0-2 years experience in the Securities Industry is a plus
  • Understanding of the Securities Industry is a plus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications; Communications and Liberal Arts minors/majors (in particular English) is a plus
  • Ability to manage various tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to complete the workload in an accurate and timely manner
  • Problem solving skills
