Excellent Privately held client here in the Westchester that is experiencing tremendous growth is looking to hire a Manager of Operations that will oversee the entire order fulfillment process and manage the 3PL relationships with the support of the Operations Associate. They will have a significant understanding of our overall business strategy to improve efficiencies and drive down operating costs. They will collaborate cross-functionally with the sales team to ensure all customer orders ship accurately and on time. This individual will be a team player who excels at warehouse management, order fulfillment and rework assemblies.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for complete and on-time order processing for all customer orders

Manage all customer requirements and compliance including, but not limited to carton markings, labeling, ship methods, pre-ticketing, etc.

Manage all drop ship accounts, including the management of customer portals for item updates, inventory allocations, etc.

Effectively communicate daily with CSRs at warehouse to gain complete understanding of the status of all customer purchase orders, inbound receipts, outbound transfers

Create, submit and manage thru completion all reworks, repacks, and display assembly builds while negotiating rework costs and prioritizing rework schedule

Create and distribute cost sheets for all reworks that require cost tier adjustments and validate transactions and costs within the system

Maintain, update and publish daily open order report to internal operations team

Track and report monthly inventory storage costs by product category and recommend short and long term actions to reduce carrying costs

Manage all Value Added Services (VAS) to ensure costing is at or below budget and approve all monthly VAS invoices

Audit all customer chargebacks and either dispute with the customer or 3PL for credits, reversals, etc.

Determine overall root cause of customer chargebacks and work with 3PL's to put SOP's in place to avoid future occurrences

Coordinate new account setups, approvals and periodic maintenance for EDI and non EDI customers


5+ years experience in operations or warehouse management for a CPG company - preferably manufacturing/wholesale based working with top retailers in the US

Business Degree preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Strong leadership and management experience a must

Excellent attention to detail, follow up and organizational skills

Excellent communicator and influencer

Strong flexibility and adaptability skills

Ability to travel when needed
