job summary:
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator processes payroll on a bi-monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality for employee information. He or she will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the US group benefit plans; including medical and dental plans, vision, life and disability, and the defined contribution program.

responsibilities:
Payroll
- Maintains the time & attendance system and initiates bi-monthly payroll processing for all corporate employees.
- Maintains payroll deductions, deferrals, and withholding for all employees.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Processes new hire and termination payroll and benefit information.
- Distributes specific payroll reports to Managers as requested.
- Maintains PTO records, and pays out employees as appropriate.
- Supports site payroll administrators as a SME with payroll issues and resolution.
Benefits
- Lead the benefits administration for the entire organization, participates in the recommendation of plan design, policies, efficiencies, and cost-saving measures.
- Troubleshoot to resolution all aspects of the organization's benefit plans.
- Complete benefits plan audits, government filings, or other tax-reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws including ACA and FMLA.
- Manage employee/employer and employee/vendor relationships.
- Review and modify Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and administrative procedures.
- Oversee the annual Open Enrollment process, carrier feeds, health plan renewals, communication materials, and new hire benefit orientations.
- Design and validate reports and invoices utilizing the ADP and benefit vendor websites.
- Manage all aspects of Leave of Absence benefits.
qualifications:
- 3-5 years of payroll processing and benefit administration experience
- Bachelor's degree or experience in a relevant payroll, accounting or Human resources position
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
