job summary:

PAYROLL MANAGER - $75,000 to $90,000 plus Bonus

*New* opportunity to join a growing, privately held company in the western suburbs of Lancaster County as their Payroll Manager. This position is open based on the recent promotion of the incumbent - who our firm placed ten years ago as Payroll Manager. This position will report to a long-time contact (who is the Finance Director / Treasurer) and will manage one Payroll Administrator.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring payroll is completed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with regulations. Our client seeks a systems savvy payroll professional who is capable of streamlining payroll procedures and updating existing processes.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Human Resources and a minimum of six years of payroll experience is required. Candidates must have a year of management / supervisory experience.

Candidates must have strong PC / systems skills including Excel.
