responsibilities:
The Plant Controller will be directly responsible for accounting, budgeting and forecasting for the plant and will report to the Group Controller. This includes, but not limited to, cost accounting, financial analysis, fixed assets and general ledger accounting, account reconciliations.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Maintain inventory records, review inventory transactions, monitor cycle count process, and verify and post inventory adjustments
· Prepare month end inventory report and reconcile it to the general ledger accounts
· Prepare and analyze the Cost Variance Accounts monthly
· Perform capital project analysis and maintain accounting for fixed assets
· Lead the preparation of plant annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
· Prepare plant actual costing report compared to budget on monthly basis for variance analysis
· Develop various production financial reports and projections to support plant management to track and measure performance
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts
· Performs month end closing activities
· Assist with annual financial audits
