job summary:

Manufacturing Plant HR Supervisor - Texarkana, TX

We're looking for a Manufacturing Plant HR Supervisor who will work closely with the local plant HR Manager, HR staff and assist in coordinating , leading, and managing all aspects of HR, employee relations, labor negotiations in a 24/7 operation.

This role is located in the Texarkana, TX area and relocation assistance is available if needed.

KPIs

- MUST have UNION experience

- Manufacturing and Solid HR experience

- Comp, benefits, Hiring, Retention, succession planning

- 3+ direct reports

- 400+ employees

- Safety manager on site

- Good culture - no micromanagement

- Successful plant, been around for a long time

 
qualifications:

Background and experience targets:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR preferred
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience required
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (paper manufacturing preferred)
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Union labor/relations experience (contract interpretation, compliance, grievance, arbitration)
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience of Federal and State employment laws and other government compliance regulations
  • Experience with SAP or other HRIS

Compensation:

  • $75-$90K+
  • Excellent benefits
  • Potential relocation assistance if needed
