job summary:

A 90 year old company and world leader in consumer products and design of HVAC Purification & Care products, has a key opportunity in the Midwest for a Compliance Associate & Analyst. will focus on supporting the North American organization by providing compliance oversight and developing a robust compliance culture across all product specialties.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the HVAC Sector. This company has multiple global labs dedicated to research and development of state-of-the-art technology, products, and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for oversight of North American product compliance program and management of a robust compliance culture.
  • Work closely with Global Compliance team to ensure products meet evolving changes of North American market regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and support our sales team on completing retailer-specific product compliance requirements such as EPA FIFRA, CARB, ENERGY STAR, PROP 65, MSDS, WERCS and serve as company representative
  • Serve as the company's Represent before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • Support the Head of Quality & Testing in product safety, product compliance, product liability and product quality legal programs and processes for North America.
  • Lead and develop organization's compliance learning program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) required; MBA highly preferred.
  • Experience working in the Consumer Durables Sector in a marketing, compliance, or quality related role
  • Experience working with NSF, UL, WQA, Prop 65, EPA FIFRA, Energy Star or regulatory bodies such as Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or
  • Familiarity with Import Compliance initiatives
  • Ability to generate and interpret market research reports and analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills, persuasive, and strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. Advanced or Expert level Excel skills would be a plus.
