job summary:

An international manufacturer of enhanced spring systems with global partners throughout the world, has a key opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Eastern Region. Celebrating over 75 years in business, this company's customer-centric approach has had top priority and contributes significantly to success of their organization.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively grow and shape the assigned market areas
  • Analyze market potential and identify potential client targets
  • Developed alliances with business and channel partners to scope out potential new clients in each given territory
  • Implement and adjust the global sales strategy to customer segments and industries
  • Support and develop existing and new (distribution) partners and develop brand awareness with big OEM's as well as end-users
  • Set up training modules and programs for clients and channel partners in each market
  • Collaborate with customers develop products and applications tailored to meet new business demands
  • Use social media and marketing analytics to acquire new customers, development of new sales channels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering coupled with a Business Administration degree is preferred.
  • Several years of proven direct sales ( "Hunter" ) experience of industrial components, machinery, and related products
  • Experience developing channel partners , OEMs, Industrial Product Distributors and Resellers.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiating skills
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, or a similar sales application
  • Experience using all Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
