This client is looking for a Regional Controller in the Mt. Juliet, TN area. In this role, you will be responsible for leadership, guidance and advice to accounting personnel, regional finance managers and regional and business unit management teams on existing business, forecast and budget as well as monthly operating results. You will also be charged to make recommendations based on analysis and interpretation of statistics of current and future operations. You will ensure compliance with corporate objectives, policies and procedures, ISO guidelines and other regulatory requirements.

Summary of the work :

  • Responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, timeliness and validity of all accounting transactions for the Region are recorded and reported to US Corporate Finance in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Supervise accounting personnel, Regional Finance Manager and provides monthly and quarterly reviews on all strategic initiatives
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the region
  • Provide leadership, guidance and financial advice to regional and business unit teams on existing business, forecast and budget, and monthly operating results
  • Coordinate the monthly preparation of the Region's management business review and participate in presentations to Executive Team
  • Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
  • Review technical financial contracts
  • Assist with pricing decisions and overall economic evaluation on new customer bids

Your required background and skills include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, an MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in a high-volume environment
  • A minimum of 7 years of Managerial experience
  • Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing and operations
  • A strong background in pricing/revenue and contract analysis
