job summary:

A Major Appliance manufacturer is looking for a Regional Director to manage their distribution, contract and builder business in the heartland. This company is in growth mode and has a relaxed, collaborative and successful culture.

responsibilities:
  • This person will manage 6 Territory Managers
  • Grow and expand the builder, contract and distribution channel
  • Own the P&L for this $100M+ division
  • Set the KPIs and strategy to achieve volume and profit goals
  • Be the voice of the customer
  • Be a big part of the relationship with current and potential customers in the region
  • others as assigned
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher REQUIRED
  • 5+ years sales experience in appliance/builder trade
  • 3+ years managing a territory sales team
  • Indirect/channel/distributor sales experience preferred
  • Premium/custom product experience preferred
  • Data-driven, market aware and profit-focused
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Office suite and CRM savvy
  • Ability to travel about 35%
  • Must live in the South/Central US

Salary could be 150-185k (or more for the right person), plus 50% target bonus, company car, and great benefits.
