job summary:

One of my clients in Virginia Beach is looking to add a Sales Manager to their team! This is a great opportunity that is not to be missed! This is a remote position, but will have to travel on the East Coast on occasion. Candidates MUST have 3+ years of experience in the marine industry.

responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs
  • Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements and/or to introduce potential partnerships on new applications that the Company can offer and the client may need at present or in its future product development
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives. Ensure budget and time requirements are met
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Stay up to date with the evolving technology in the markets we serve and explore opportunities with internal design teams to develop solutions our customers may be needing as a consequence
  • Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.
  • Gain profitable market share
  • Bring the Voice of the Customer to internal teams
 
qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
  • Minimum of 3 Sales experience
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and dashboards
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
