Tatum Professional Search is actively assisting a rapidly growing Financial Services/Lending company with their search for an SEC Reporting Director. This is a new position within the organization due to growth and a recent acquisition. Our client has a tenured and respected leadership team along with an excellent company culture and numerous employee perks that are not typically available in traditional corporate roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a technical accounting operation within a company poised for exponential growth in the coming years.

  • Prepare accurate reporting and filing of SEC periodic reports such as Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, 20-F and Annual Report
  • Ensures compliance with all SEC, FASB and IFRS rules and regulations
  • Conducts, supports and assists with the internal audit function and the initial implementation and ongoing SOX compliance requirements
  • Leads all financial research efforts. Analyzes, researches and concludes on new and proposed accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the SEC, FASB and eventual IFRS and prepare memorandums regarding the Company's position and impact on the Company
  • BS in Accounting, Master's preferred
  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of professional experience with a preference for Big 4 Audit pedigree
  • Strong understanding of SOX and SEC Reporting
