job summary:

Tatum Professional Search is partnering with a multi billion industrial services company with their search for a SEC Reporting Manager. Our client is in the midst or preparing for an IPO and is seeking a strong SEC Reporting Manager professional to develop robust accounting policies and internal controls.

This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office & 3 days WFH (with flexibility)

responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage SEC reporting framework to meet SEC rules and regulations compliance
  • Manage the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K, in compliance with SEC Regulations and US GAAP
  • Create and maintain SEC reporting calendar, coordinate key timelines and derivable to ensure timely, accurate, and complete SEC filings
  • Prepare and review supporting documentation and schedules supporting the financial statements and footnotes
  • Monitor new SEC/GAAP guidance, research new accounting pronouncements on SEC and technical accounting issues to determine appropriate accounting treatment and financial disclosures
  • Ensure complete and accurate supporting documentation of financial and other information used in external reporting, including financial statements, earnings releases, earnings release scripts and Investor Relations materials and significant corporate events
  • Manage the SOX implementation process for SEC Reporting process; work with third-party providers as well as process and control owners to develop detailed documentation of processes and controls.
 
qualifications:
  • IPO experience preferred
  • Familiarity with SEC filing software
  • Working knowledge US GAAP and SEC Reporting Rules and Regulations
  • CPA License Required
  • Proficiency with SOX audits and external audits
