job summary:

Tatum by Randstad has a client located in Alpharetta, GA with a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Accountant. If you have at least 3 to 5+ years' financial statement and reporting, full-cycle Accounting experience, at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience), and a desire to play a critical role in supporting all facets of Accounting, this role is for you!

responsibilities:

· Perform general accounting and period end closes within tight deadlines, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, cash flow management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

· Post period end journal entries and reconcile a variety of accounts

· Prepare period end workbook consisted of supporting schedules for all balance sheet accounts

· Review working trial balance to identify and remove data entry errors and misclassifications and troubleshoot prior account balances

· Manage non-income tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies, such as sales tax and business licenses in various jurisdictions

· Train and supervise staff accountants on day-to-day functions

· Assist controller with various projects

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; or equivalent experience

· 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and period end close

· Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Experience working with MS Dynamics - Great Plains software

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Great people skills; strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Nice to have Qualifications:

· CPA license/eligibility

· Experience in staffing or professional service industries and related software
