Tatum by Randstad is actively assisting a long time client with its search for a Senior Accountant in Atlanta, GA. Our client is a well established and profitable organization with a strong track record of employee development and retention. responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for multiple business units of the consolidated group
  • Prepare schedules and journal entries including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, A/R and A/P aging reconciliations
  • Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management / corporate
  • Provide timely financial support to operations
  • Support of continuous improvements through automation and work processes aimed at making the department more efficient
  • Cross train within the Finance department
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 3 years exposure to financial monthly close, debits, credits and analytics
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience with general accounting and financial reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, results driven and excellent multi-tasking
  • Ability to work under pressure of strict time frames
  • Ability to identify and implement best practices and changes
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and direction of leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills a must.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Ability to create and analyze efficient financial reports
