job summary:

Tatum Professional Search is currently in search of a Sr Accountant to join a company experiencing rapid growth. The Senior Accountant is responsible for all aspects of transactional accounting, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and preparing monthly and interim financial statements, in accordance with established policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • Maintains financials by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts for (All entities).
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for (Cash, Accrued Liabilities, Pre-Pays, Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Deferred rent, etc.).
  • Provides financial status information by preparing special reports, completing special projects.
  • Prepare all daily/monthly Journal entries.
  • Secures financial information and keeping information confidential.
  • Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements for (All Entities) including Elimination entries.
  • Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
  • Ensure adherence in Financial Statements to US GAAP.
  • Monthly analysis of Financial results for all entities.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
  • Solid, hands on experience with large ERP systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience and comfort in working with individuals across various organizational levels
  • BS Degree in Accounting
