job summary:
  • GREAT opportunity to move into a Sr. Accountant role in the South Suburbs of Chicago.
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Also responsible for proper accounting methods, policies, principles, & analyzing the general ledger, in order to produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements in partnership with the Accounting Manager.

responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for daily operations of accounting department including:
    • Month and year-end process
    • Accounts payable/receivable
    • Cash receipts
    • General ledger
    • Budgeting and cash flow
    • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
  • Assist in annual audits
  • Support the Accounting Manager
 
qualifications:
  • Problem Solving/Analysis & Financial Management Experience
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting required
  • CMA or CPA desirable but not required
