job summary:

Tatum Executive Search is currently recruiting a Sr. Accountant e for their well-established Construction client near Riverside. This position will responsible for the following:

 
location: Garden Grove, California

responsibilities:

Responsibilities and skills:

- General Ledger and sub-ledger maintenance, including account reconciliations, journal entries and transactional analysis

- Financial statements, prepares month-end journal entries

- Documents explanations for significant variances between actual and budgeted amounts.

- Collections

 
qualifications:

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Professional finance or accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification) required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 10+ years of financial management experience
  • Demonstrated success managing finance, accounting, budgeting, internal control and reporting functions
  • Extensive experience with accounting software
  • Experience partnering with a senior leadership team and the Board
  • Strong analytical skills and experience translating a strategic plan into a financial model
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication and team-collaboration skills, able to grow and develop team
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a deep understanding of the business while maintaining a macro view of the organization's financial position and growth opportunities
  • Communicate a clear point of view with open-mindedness and flexibility
  • Focus on results while working with attention to details and with a sense of urgency.
  • Manage effectively with prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and exercising good judgment in decision-making
  • Bilingual English and Chinese mandarin highly preferred, open to considering various level of proficiency
