job summary:

Established and growing real estate investment/property management company located in downtown San Francisco is looking for a Senior Accountant. Report to the Controller supporting month end close and operations.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, revenue, expense, and fixed assets, direct and indirect cost allocation, proper account coding for revenue and expenses, balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation.
  • Prepare journal entries including appropriate documentation
  • Participate in Month End close activities
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages
  • Review and monitor cash flow forecasts for multiple bank accounts and projects
  • Review outstanding Accounts Receivable balances for accuracy
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation and schedules for the annual tax returns on certain properties. Assist tax preparers throughout the tax return preparation process ensuring that deadlines are met
 
qualifications:

Requirements:

BS degree

5-7 years of related experience

Experience with real estate/investment industry a plus
