Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join an exciting team at a growing electrical utility company. This position will report directly to the CFO.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assist heavily in month end close process
- File quarterly sales tax
- Weekly/Monthly journal entries
- Reconciling General Ledger accounts
- Maintenance of Balance Sheet Liabilities and Prepaid Assets
- Setting up new Accounts as needed
- Assisting in audits (union, state, federal or third party)
- Working with operations on rates and financial projections
- Supporting and coordinating efforts with AP, Payroll, AR and HR
- Assist AR in collections as needed
- Ad-Hoc analysis as needed
qualifications:
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required
- Preferred CPA, CMA and/or MBA
- Strong Accounting and Financial skills
- Firm understanding of Construction Project Costing
- Understanding of taxes, especially in relation to sales and payroll
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- GAAP proficient
- Previous experience with QB Online
This position is 100% on site and will work out of Skippack, Pennsylvania.
