A rapidly growing public accounting firm in Summerlin is actively seeking a high-quality Senior Auditor. In this role, you will assume responsibility for leading audit engagements for clients, encompassing comprehensive planning, fieldwork, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to effectively manage and mentor junior team members.

responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee audit engagements, including scoping, risk assessment, testing, and reporting, ensuring adherence to audit methodology and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with established audit methodology and professional standards, maintaining a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy throughout the audit process.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings to clients, providing insightful recommendations to address identified issues and enhance internal controls.
  • Review workpapers, financial statements, and other audit documentation prepared by junior team members, offering constructive feedback to foster professional growth and maintain quality standards.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members on audit methodology, technical skills, and professional development, nurturing a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposal writing and client presentations, showcasing the firm's capabilities and contributing to its growth initiatives.
 
qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, with a specific focus on audit engagements, is mandatory, highlighting your proficiency in auditing principles and practices.
