job summary:

Our client is a large, privately held engineering firm with a national presence! They specialize in the design of MEP systems for enterprise, transportation, and government clients.

They are adding a Senior Billing Accountant to their team, who will be responsible for generating a high-volume of invoice transactions and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounts receivable. These include timely billings, collections and maintenance of the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger, in addition to supporting various projects, including annual audits and quarterly reviews.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Works with customers (internal and external) to resolve problems; answer questions and provide recommendations on behalf of management.
  • Analyzes, reviews and maintains billing tables for all Business Units. Validates billing attributes (charge IDs, revenue type, rates, etc.) for all billing initiatives.
  • Generates standard and non-standard reports; analyzes reports and provide recommendations.
  • Generates and analyzes aging reports; responding to related questions from internal customers and management.
  • Prepares and verifies reports and reconciles accounting data from several sources.
