job summary:

Our non-profit client in the Norfolk, Virginia area is looking for a temp to hire Senior Compensation Analyst for a three to six month assignment this individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities. Acknowledging principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely reports and statements in accordance with GAAP, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures are being adhered to across the organization. Overseeing the finance and operational department.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Management,
  • Experience building partnerships and influencing at the Executive-level.
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Superb analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, delivering, and auditing work
  • General knowledge of compensation compliance with the state and federal laws that apply to the plans.
  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
  • Prior experience using Success Factors and UKG
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or Business or equivalent experience
  • Excellent Verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to be in office during located in Norfolk, Virginia
  • Once acclimated to the work environment this role will have the flexibility of being Hybrid
