job summary:

Tatum by Randstad is conducting a national search for a Senior Director of Finance over the company's Credit and Collections-related departments (credit analysts, accounts receivable accountants, and billing specialists) at a Pre-IPO SaaS company located in Atlanta. This position will be a member of the senior-leadership team and will report into the VP of Finance. The option to work 100% remotely is being offered with one week per quarter required to travel to Atlanta.

responsibilities:

The Senior Director of Finance will be a big-picture, strategic-minded individual that will play an integral role in the company's top line and cash growth. The Senior Director will review and ensure best practices are in place and look for areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The position will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 25 (direct and indirect reports), as well as working cross functionally with other department management.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing billing operations and order management to ensure accurate and complete bookings and billing information for accounting and reporting
  • Driving continuous system enhancements with Sales Operations, Business Systems, and Platform Operations as it relates to all order to cash processes to increase efficiency and ensure scalability
  • Managing cash flow and providing insight to senior leadership and Strategic Finance group into customer payment methods, the likelihood of payments made on time, and overall delinquent accounts management
  • Creating, implementing and refining credit policies, financing options, payment terms and procedures for our customers
  • Collaborating cross functionally to drive strategic initiatives to reduce customer payment friction while maintaining strong financial control over cash receivables
  • Managing third party finance partners, resellers, channel partners as they interact with our customers
  • Creating and determining metrics to measure each team's performance, provide insights to the business on emerging trends
  • Staffing, structuring and developing an excellent team to continue to efficiently scale with the business
 
qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years of strategic background in credit and collections with a large, multi-national publicly-traded company and at least 5 years of experience in managing large teams. Candidates must also have process improvement experience (Six Sigma Certification is helpful). The ideal candidate will also be a CPA. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is helpful.

A strong compensation plan is being offered along with equity.
