job summary:

Tatum by Randstad is conducting a national search for a Senior Director of Finance to oversee the Procure-to-Pay process at a Pre-IPO company in the SaaS industry. This position will be a key decisionmaker and instrumental to vendor relationships, improving margins and cash savings.

responsibilities:

This Senior Director of Finance will be a part of the company's senior leadership team and will report to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities will include working directly with the company's vendors and overseeing the teams responsible for procurement, T&E, and accounts payable while interfacing with other internal finance teams and cross-functional departments. Responsibilities also include the following:

  • Creating, implementing, and refining spend policies, financing options, payment and contract terms for vendor relationships
  • Driving strategic initiatives to procure the right tools at the right cost for business partners, and manage cash outflows of the business
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Overseeing procurement and payable operations to ensure policies, process and the final reporting of AP is accurate and appropriate for financial reporting
  • Driving continuous system enhancements with Business Systems, Legal, IT, and Treasury as it relates to all procure-to-pay processes to increase efficiency, compliance, and ensure scalability
  • Managing cash flow and providing insight to senior leadership and Strategic Finance group into vendor payments, upcoming procurement negotiations, and overall cost savings initiatives
  • Creating and determining metrics to measure each team's performance, providing insights to the business on emerging trends
  • Staffing, structuring, and developing an excellent team to continue to efficiently scale with the business
 
qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years of experience specifically in Procure to Pay and accounting in a multi-national, high-growth SaaS company. Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in driving change and improving operations. Experience with NetSuite and Ironclad is preferred.
