Tatum is assisting with the immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team of one of our clients in Charlotte, NC! We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Analyst to assist the Manager of FP&A in providing exceptional financial leadership to various business units. Hybrid work schedule.

Job Duties:

  • In collaboration with corporate FP&A and key stakeholders, streamline and standardize financial reporting, planning and analysis, leverage financial systems and create meaningful KPIs to track business performance. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial, business, and operational visibility to the Director of FP&A - NA, extended executive team and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting package and relevant financial analysis in support of management reporting. Identify variance/drivers versus budget and prior year. Identify and analyze current and past trends and develop performance indicators. Develop best-in-class financial and business decision capabilities by creating an appropriate data and analytics function. Ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data being reported.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly MOR package and relevant financial analysis. Bridge financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Coordination and timely completion of monthly and quarterly forecasts. Improve forecast tools and review. Support the North America IBP process and linkage to financial forecasts and budgets
  • Lead key processes related to Annual Budget and Strategic Planning / Long Range Financial Forecast Process
  • Develop enhanced management reporting tools, including sales, product, profitability and various ratio analytics.
  • Optimize processes, systems and tools for reporting and analyzing key business drivers.
  • Partner with BU FP&A, Business Unit Finance, Sourcing, Operations, Product Line and Sales management as required to support business needs.
  • Fully support OneStream and ERP/SAP implementations
  • Ad hoc analysis as required depending upon the needs of the business


  • Degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline required
  • MBA and / or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, experience at a manufacturing business strongly preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles.
  • Strong data analytics, finance/accounting system experience and presentation skills
  • Experience with consolidation software (HFM/OneStream) and ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
  • Strong power point and excel skills; Power BI is a plus
