Tatum by Randstad is working with a privately owned global distribution company in the Philadelphia area; they are currently looking for a Senior level Financial Analyst. Fantastic growth opportunity with a fast growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing privately held organization. As the Senior Financial Analyst, your primary function will be to work closely with the operational leaders of the company to inform and influence all things financial. You will serve as an advisor for these key leaders as well as a conduit of key financial information and insights to the senior management team.

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for a distribution business model
  • Prepare and distribute the monthly operational results packages to executive, sales and regional operations managers.
  • Prepare monthly company stand alone financial statements, including monthly results narrative.
  • Assist with the budgeting, forecasting & analysis process for business units, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a robust forecasting model.
  • Identify, implement and maintain financial planning & forecasting model solution.
  • Understand the relationships between and the dynamics of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement and be able to systematically budget/forecast these financial statements
  • Perform variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets, be able to bridge and explain variance drivers
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
  • Accurately update systems to actual results, forecasts, and budgets, as well as quarterly rolling twelve month forecasts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of financial analysis and budgeting, forecasting and the ability and experience to create complex models for analytical and reporting purposes.
  • General technology background and experience with the following helpful: Hyperion / Microsoft SQL or BI reporting ++
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and profitability analysis
  • Excellent Analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
