job summary:

Highly successful global IT company is looking to hire on a Senior Financial Analyst. This individual will work under the Finance Director supporting their sales operations. They will responsible for bridging the gap between the sales commissions team and deliverables team by finding, identifying, and creating resolutions.

Ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in FP&A supporting sales operations in a high tech or shared services environment. Must have Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning tools such as Anaplan, Essbase, or SFDC.

Responsibilities:

Working with global sales and delivery teams to drive short-term and long-term revenue forecasting and planning.

Lead revenue forecast reviews and provide insights to BU leaders and senior management.

Working with local accounting team to make sure that all bookings are done properly and supporting month/quarter end close activities and revenue reporting processes.

Driving process improvements and supporting automation working with IT team.

Being part of a global FP&A team, interacting with peers in USA (Corporate Headquarters), India, Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia.

Build analytical models to perform ad-hoc analyses. Normalize data and synthesize into consistent, clear presentation formats.

4-5 years of experience in a sales/revenue finance role; ideally including 2+ years of experience working in IT services company.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, mathematics or related field. Advanced degree in business or finance would be a plus.

Advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning and forecasting tools. Familiarity with Essbase, SFDC, Anaplan or similar tools are a plus.

High level of Intensity, integrity and dedication. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships
