Our client is a rapidly growing home furnishings brand that produces wallcoverings, fabric, and furniture to interior designers and home retailers. Established in 1886, they are the nation's oldest wallpaper company that has since evolved into a one-stop shop. They are a close knit team eager to hire someone with a passion for design!

As the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and communicating financial and KPI results across the organization. The position will work with the company across all functions and levels of management. Reporting to the CFO, the position is a key role in understanding and reporting what drives profitable business growth, both organically and through acquisitions.

responsibilities:
  • Analyze business and financial data.
  • Create financial models to support organizational decision making.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders including budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
  • Evaluate the economics of capital expenditures and provide data for purchase decisions.
  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Support corporate strategic initiatives.
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Five years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst or valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least three years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
