job summary:

Senior Human Resources Benefits Specialist - $60,000 to $75,000-

This position is responsible for administration of employee benefits in all company operations across North America (approximately 2,000 employees). This position will work closely with the Executive Management Team and the Benefits Broker(s) to evaluate and develop cost control tools to maximize coverage at the best price to the company's employees.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities include-

  • Benefits administration
  • Analyze existing benefits across the entire organization and routinely conduct benefit cost strategy and provide recommendations to Management.
  • Set up benefit plans - coordinating the benefit administration with other HR departments (Payroll, HRIS, Employee Relations, etc.),
  • Conduct benefit presentations, ensuring a successful benefit enrollment and following up with providers to ensure timely enrollment in their systems.
  • Assist with benefit orientation for new hires to include executives and Human Resource Business Partners as requested
  • Train Benefit Specialists on all benefit tasks, follow-up on action needed and escalate concerns to the Benefits Manager as appropriate
 
qualifications:

Our client requires a minimum of three year of Corporate Human Resources Benefits experience (preferably within a mid to large sized organization). While a Bachelor's Degree is NOT required, it is preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, our client is willing to look at non-degreed candidates with strong Benefits experience.
