senior income tax analyst in duluth

Our client is a leading distributor in building supplies. They are seeking a Senior Income Tax Analyst to join their team. This position will be to assist with the Company's tax compliance, accounting, and reporting for income taxes.

• Prepares U.S. quarterly and year-end tax provision calculation and journal entries.
• Gathers, organizes data and coordinates with external service provider for the US federal and state income and franchise tax returns.
• Maintains tax filing calendars for the department.
• Prepares miscellaneous filings such as Form 1099.
• Researches and assists with responding to tax notices and tax audit requests.
• Assists with tax research.
• Assists with monthly tax accounting processes such as reconciling tax accounts.
• Participates in special projects as requested.
• Refines and improves data collection and other departmental processes.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of related corporate income and franchise tax accounting experience.
