Currently working with a successful global technology company that is looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting & Revenue to help oversee the SEC Reporting functions and Revenue Recognition. Will have 1 Senior SEC Accountant and 1 Revenue Manager under it and needs to be strong with SEC Reporting with some working knowledge of ASC 606. Company has a great culture and a strong track record for promoting from within. Current person is taking on a bigger role within the company. Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Revenue
For the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Revenue, we're looking for someone that's passionate and that thrives in a high growth, fast paced and constantly changing environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead external reporting process and make sure the financial statements are in compliance with GAAP. This includes the filing of Form 10-Q and 10-K with XBRL tags
- Lead all aspects of the Company's revenue accounting process, including technical analysis, review of monthly journal entries and reconciliations
- Research potential new revenue streams and provide actionable recommendations to management
- Proficiency in ASC 606, including applying the relative standalone selling price method
- Manage cross-functional teams throughout the entire project life-cycle from problem definition, requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation
- Own the Audit Committee deck and ensure Audit Committee concerns are addressed
- Implement new accounting guidance
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 718 and related journal entries
- Maintain SOX controls related to financial reporting and revenue
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- At least 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience.
- Working knowledge and experience with WDesk, Netsuite and Zuora
- Strong execution, follow-up and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Commitment to process improvement and the ability to think out of the box
