job summary:

Tatum is seeking Senior Accountants in theHouston , Texas area to join our interim team. On assignment, senior accountants will be responsible for general ledger accounting, completing reconciliations, journal entries, month end close, and ensuring that all work meets GAAP standards. Average assignments last for 3-6 months, with some leading to conversion based on client needs, performance, and fit. Assignments can be either fully in-office, hybrid, or remote. KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

-Record primarily oil/gas activity from pipeline statements or volume allocations

- Volume and price input for Revenue uploads

- Prepare spreadsheets, allocations, invoicing, transportation rebills, and imbalances and inventory applicable

- Prepare, revise and have an understanding of ownership and revenue distribution decks

- Execute payments and coding of transportation invoices

- Preparation of journal entries

- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of work assignments and processes

- Provide analysis and support data for partners, audits and owner inquiries

- Balance sheet reconciliations such as A/P & A/R

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

- 5 - 10 years of Revenue Accounting or Pipeline accounting experience
