A top ocean carrier that is coming off their best year in a decade and that is off to a better start this year, is looking for an experienced sales manager to replace an upcoming retirement. The company offers highly competitive benefits.
The SM will coach/manage a few AE's, the budget and strategy for the PNW and frequently participate in joint sales calls.
Base salary could be $100-150k or more depending on experience. Plus bonus.

responsibilities:
- Manage a sales force that is hunting for new business opportunities and working with existing customers
- Develop and support sales team through various forms of coaching
- Ensures sales plan are developed and budgets are met
- Work with leadership to develop the area budget and sales strategies
- Provide the proper tools and training for the sales team to be successful
- Other duties as assigned
qualifications:
- Bachelors degree is highly preferred
- 5+ years outside sales experience selling ocean freight services
- 3+ years sales management experience
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategy
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM
- Ability to travel 25-40% (mostly local) when permissible
