job summary:

A Seymour manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Accounting and have prior experience in manufacturing, with an understanding of inventory. The position is fully onsite, however, the company does offer flexibly when needed. The Senior Staff Accountant role will pay $80-85K depending on experience.

responsibilities:
  • Perform both bank and credit card recs
  • Maintain Fixed Assets
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Prepare sales and use taxes
  • Bank transfers
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Crosstrain with payroll
 
qualifications:
  • BS in Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Prior experience with an ERP system required
