job summary:

Our Boston client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for a newly created position. This person will be responsible for US income tax returns, having up-to-date knowledge of US tax regulations, and coordinating with internal/external auditors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have high visibility and join a collaborative team!

*This position is hybrid with 1-2 days in office*

responsibilities:
  • Act as the expert for all things related to US tax and financial regulations
  • Prepare the federal and state income tax returns as well as property tax returns
  • Prepare tax provision and reporting
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
    • Ensure income tax compliance
  • Assist with tax planning objectives
  • Advise management on new tax laws
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • CPA required
  • 4+ years of related Tax work experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical/problem solving skills, and initiative to meets goals/objectives
