job description

job summary:
  • Responsible for management of all tax audits in the Americas region
  • Monitor changes in tax laws that may impact the group's tax positions.
  • Responsible for Americas regions transfer pricing monitoring and compliance, including monitoring our internal financing arrangements, management fee arrangements, and sub-contract arrangements throughout the Americas group.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance obligations are met for Corporate Tax and Withholding tax, including cash tax costs whilst balancing the requirement to remit funds from the region to Group treasury.
  • Monthly Americas (with support of US Tax Analyst) tax report is prepared on time for the Tax Director.
  • Management and updating of sales tax matrix and tax calendar.
  • Day-to-day management of correspondence for all taxes.
  • Assess tax accounting implications of any proposed transactions
  • Must haves:
  • Accounting degree
  • Professional tax and / or accountancy qualification.
  • At least 7 year's relevant tax experience
