job summary:

Tatum is currently conducting a search for a direct hire Senior Treasury Analyst with their well established real estate client in West Los Angeles. This is a newly created role that will report to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and analyze all ad hoc reports and analysis relating to banking activity, cash position, cash activity, and cash flow projections
  • Provide assessments and potential implementation of treasury technology solutions
  • Assist in the streamlining of Treasury processes by properly maintaining internal controls and compliance measures
  • Maintain bank accounts records and related activities; resolve all pertinent banking issues; assist with fraud prevention
  • Implement processes increasing efficiencies and driving continuous improvements
  • Analyze monetary strategy to optimize yield while achieving capital preservation
  • Work closely with finance, AR, AP to develop more accurate cash forecasting and prevent liquidity issues
  • Identify excess or deficient cash liquidity and recommend transfers as needed
  • Analyze large volumes of cash data and present information in a concise and intuitive manner
  • Enforce and maintain cash management policies and procedures
  • Conduct transaction research in banking system and in general ledger as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of cash receipts and disbursements including vendor EFT payments
  • Process stop-payment requests
  • Distribute bank adjustments and NSF notices to accounting for processing
  • Prepare and generate CPI rents and commercial monthly billing
  • Process commercial write offs and tenant adjustments as necessary
  • Prepare all required documentation required for bank account openings, closing, and modifications as well as developing and maintain the bank gold copy

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of treasury accounting experience with real estate, financial services or related industry. Other requirements include:

  • Strong banking relationship background
  • Accounting degree
  • Advanced Excel
